There are 56 cards in the Minor Arcana and are divided into 4 suits
they
are Pentacles, Swords, Wands, and Cups,
each suit has 14 cards, beginning with
the Ace, then
followed by numbered cards, 2 through to 10, followed by the Page,
Knight, Queen and king.
Each
suit represents a specific element and condition.

Swords |
are Air signs and represent force and courage against
adversity , domination over others and are relate to the Astrological signs,
Aries - Leo - Sagittarius
|

Wands |
are Fire signs and represent Enterprise, work, effort
and humble activity. They relate to the signs of Gemini-
Libra - Aquarius
|
|
Cups
|
are Water signs and represent
Love, Joy happiness and gaiety. they deal with religion, passions and
compassion.
They relate to the signs, Pisces - Cancer - Scorpio
|
|
Pentacles
|
are Earth signs and represent Money, Financial matters,
gains - losses and material possessions. They relate to the
signs Taurus - Capricorn - Virgo

represents an attitude or symbolizes a condition or interaction

beginning, new enterprise, or achievement and
is ruled by the Sun

goals, endeavours and future plans this card is
ruled by Mercury.

Is the card of
philosophy, THE building OF foundations, consolidation of achievement, and is
ruled by Jupiter.

Is of
purpose, action and energies and that which
motivates us, and is ruled by Mars.
|
| SIX : |
Governs
love, romance, emotion and change, this card
is ruled by Venus.

| SEVEN: |
Is of
lessons to be learned and promotion of spiritual
and material evolution, and is ruled by Saturn.

| EIGHT: |
Represents
opposites, male-female, RIGHT AND wrong, LIFE AND DEATH, good AND evil and is
ruled by the Polar force.

| NINE : |
Is of
give and take, consciousness and development of
knowledge, and is ruled by Saturn influence by Jupiter.

| TEN : |
Represents the Sun and the Moon and is of the unity of
opposites, completion bringing peace and harmony.

KING, QUEEN,
KNIGHT and PAGE (Knave).
Court cards are different from numbered cards as they portray an attitude, or
represent an individual. |
